An Advanced Standing applicant is an individual who started a nursing program, at any institution other than Kiamichi Tech, but did not finish it.*

Before continuing this application, you must first verify you meet the prerequisite qualifications for your chosen Level. For example, if you did not complete all courses at your previous program that are included in Level I of the Kiamichi Tech Practical Nursing program, then you do not qualify for Advanced Standing; you will need to apply for the complete program when those applications become available January - April 15 of each year.

OKLAHOMA RESIDENTS (applicants who live in Oklahoma) with a FELONY CONVICTION, MUST FIRST PETITION for a DETERMINATION OF ELIGIBILITY, from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.  This does not include crimes committed as a juvenile and does not include convicitions that have been expunged by order of a court of competenet jurisdiction.
